Celebrates 85 Years of Faith, Family, Future

ALUMNI COME HOME!

 This school year, St. Francis Xavier School celebrates the 85^th anniversary of educating children in Old Metairie.  Originally staffed by the Sisters of Mercy, St. Francis Xavier has been an icon in the community for Catholic families.  The charisms of faith, family, and future has touched the hearts of hundreds of thousands of young boys and girls who are todays leaders in our community.  We the “family of St. Francis Xavier Catholic School” invite you to help us commemorate this milestone.  Please, mark the following dates on your calendar:

 Friday, February 10, 2012, 1:30p.m.:  Special celebratory Mass officiated by Archbishop Gregory M. Aymond for our students.

 Sunday, March 4, 2012, 12 noon:  Alumni Mass in St. Francis Church officiated by Msgr. Andrew Taormina and reception to follow in the school auditorium.
